Cloud Engineer

The successful candidate will be an aspiring Cloud Consultant, who will benefit from excellent training to get up to speed in this area. You will gain exposure to the latest tech and will benefit from learning from some of the best talents around. The ultimate aim will be to grow from a Cloud Engineer, into a Cloud Consultant specialising in AWS, M365, Azure & GCP. You will be providing client-facing technical expertise for Microsoft 365 and Azure, designing, planning, and implementing Microsoft cloud solutions to best practices. Strong experience across the AWS suite is essential. We are looking for a motivated and proactive person, who wants to become part of an already successful business, and will strive to make a positive impact from day one.

Duties:

  • Implementing Microsoft cloud technologies to best practice.

  • Supporting with technical planning of migrations and implementations.

  • Confident communication skills.

  • Production of technical documentation for design & build.

  • Researching and designing Microsoft cloud solutions.

  • Testing and troubleshooting new products or solutions.

Cloud Engineer knowledge required:

  • Strong leadership qualities with a proven ability to help influence a team to success.

  • Previous experience within a cloud/DevOps team.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft server and cloud technologies.

  • Strong experience with automation technologies including Terraform and PowerShell.

  • Solid ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, often under pressure with tight deadlines.

  • Preferably a relevant industry recognised certification or demonstrable industry experience.

Cloud Engineer experience of the following technologies:

  • Hashicorp Terraform.

  • Microsoft PowerShell.

  • Microsoft Azure.

  • Microsoft Azure DevOps.

  • eCommerce technologies including CDNs, Load Balancers and WAFs.
